In the midst of repressing my intellectual pursuits I logged onto Xvideos and searched for FraternityX. For those who don’t know, FratX is a gay porn studio featuring “straight” guys hazing each other. The fantasy of a bunch of “straight” fraternity bros forcing me to enjoy their body parts makes me wild and yet, the fantasy is probably better than reality. I’m particularly fond of hockey players. Their sticks, their pucks, my goalie holey.

I like the idea of control more than the physical reality of being controlled. My control issues move beyond the realm of the sexual. I’ve quit more jobs than I’ve had because as a peon in corporate America, I have no control. I feel fucked over. Co-workers and customers say and do whatever they want, I have to do things their way instead of my way, and so on. In “real life” there is little one can control. Yet, in sexual fantasies, I am pinned down and being violently screwed in both ends by the symbol of the patriarchy, the white straight male.

I can see Jane Ward’s book, Not Gay: Sex Between Straight White Men sitting on my shelf as I pull down my pajama pants and whip my male privilege out to masturbate.
